Cultural Center

A haven for art and artists alike, visit the historic red brick Delake School and you’ll find classes, performances and two art galleries.

Art and culture envelops you here, from the beautiful paintings and displays in the Chessman Gallery to the twirl of dancers on the main auditorium stage. The Cultural Center believes art is necessary to live well and provides the building blocks with classes, events, live performances, an artisan gift shop and the Farmers & Crafters Market. Classes in dance, yoga, Zumba, ceramics, painting, sculpture, weaving and the culinary arts are waiting to be discovered.

Regularly hosting art exhibits, the PJ Chessman Gallery has state-of-the-art lighting and sustainable bamboo floors, creating a well-lit and stylish space. The PJ Chessman Gallery is named for Phyllis Chessman, who helped envision and shape the Cultural Center. You’ll find beautiful art from local artists, receptions and art classes in Artists White Room.

The Cultural Center’s auditorium regularly bears witness to incredible performances, from dance, music and theatre productions to receptions and indoor markets. Watch art come to life onstage and outside on the front lawn. Annual events include the Festival of Illusions, Chalk Art Competition and the Farmers & Crafters Market.
