Crabbing & Clamming Clinics

Enjoy the bounty of Siletz Bay with Explore Lincoln City’s free Crabbing & Clamming Clinics. Clinics run from late spring to early fall, everyone is welcome and no registration is required.

Crabbing Clinics

Before heading out to the shoreline to catch your dinner, meet our local expert at the Pavilion at the end of SW 51st Street in the Historic Taft District of Lincoln City. Our expert will provide a scientific overview on Oregon’s crabbing regulations, harvest methods, identification, cleaning and cooking techniques.

Parking can be found between Mo’s Restaurant and the Pavilion, with flat access to the bay, which is also ADA compliant.

Crabbers are allowed to crab with up to three devices, but we recommend a folding crab trap for Siletz Bay crabbing.
