Drift Creek Falls: Just a few miles east of Lincoln City awaits a moderately difficult hike wandering through Sitka spruce trees to a gorgeous 75-foot waterfall. Overlooking the falls is a 240-foot suspension bridge, a sight in and of itself.
For parking, there are two ways to access Drift Creek Falls. From Hwy 101, take Drift Creek Rd for two miles, then turn left onto Forest Rd 17 and continue 10 miles to the trailhead. The trailhead can also be accessed from Hwy 18 east of Lincoln City. Take Bear Creek Rd for three miles until it becomes Forest Rd 17. Continue an additional seven miles to the trailhead. Parking here requires a day-use fee. Purchase a National Forest Recreation ePass online in advance. Cash and check options are no longer available onsite.
