Getting to Lincoln City

From Portland and other northern areas, you can reach Lincoln City via Hwy 99, connecting with Hwy 18 through McMinnville. From any location, including Portland as well, travel along I-5 and catch Hwy 20 through Salem. If you’re coming from other coastal communities you’ll find Lincoln City by following Hwy 101.

In the Air

The closest major airport is Portland International, and is served by most major airlines. You can rent a car in Portland or take Caravan Airport Transportation with service direct to Lincoln City.

The Coastal Connector provides transportation from Salem to Lincoln City. On the weekends, Salem’s pickup location is at the Amtrak Station with drop-off at Chinook Winds Casino Resort. On weekdays, the Coastal Connector picks up at Spirit Mountain Casino with service from Salem provided by Cherriots 2X route. There are three round trips daily.

North by Northwest Connector provides bus service from Portland to the coast, including Lincoln City. This interconnected, five county alliance is your ticket to to the Oregon Coast. Three and seven day visitor passes are available.

Electric Vehicle Travel

Are you traveling green? Lincoln City is connected to the West Coast Electric Highway, so no matter which way you choose you’ll have enough juice.
