What's New in Lincoln City July 2020

Output Records, Pub Fish & Chips, and The Grub's On Country Store have brought some buzz to Lincoln City.

OUTPUT RECORDS

Output records

It starts at Output Records. Output Music originally opened in 2005 with hopes of sparking a vibrant music scene in Lincoln City. After closing their doors 7 years later, they felt it was time to return from their hiatus. Owners Corrie and Taj Richardson’s vision echoes that of their original store, and their mission is simple: be a central part of the Oregon Coast music community and help build a significant music scene for all ages. As you walk in, records play in the background, a true aesthetic store that invites you to browse. They even have a corner dedicated to hosting live music, which they also broadcast virtually. Corrie and Taj are passionate people ready to connect our community even more, and it’s contagious.

PUB FISH & CHIPS

Pub Fish & Chips recently had their soft opening. Located next to Coldstone Creamery, this newly remodeled space specializes in traditional English style fish and chips with a variety of appetizers including calamari, popcorn shrimp, wings, steamers, and clam chowder. For vegetarians, they even have fried pickles, cauliflower, and jalapeno poppers. Not only is Pub sourcing seafood products from the Oregon Coast, but they also provide a vast selection of Oregon beer, cider, and wine to pair. Pub Fish & Chips has both indoor and outdoor seating, with a glass enclosure and umbrellas for the warmer days. They are proud to provide fresh seafood cuisine with a pub inspired feel. So far, so good.

THE GRUB'S ON COUNTRY STORE

Southern cuisine

You may have heard of The Grubs On, serving home-style southern cuisine with an atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re in grandma’s kitchen and part of the family. They recently expanded and created a Country Store stocked with a variety of unique products such as honey, maple syrup, jam, BBQ sauce, seasonings (for their famous potatoes), specialty candies, cookies, and hot sauces. There’s even mushroom jerky. For the pickles lovers out there, they have all kinds jarred and ready to take home, including a pickle freeze, like a Popsicle. Oh, did we mention homemade peanut brittle? Is your mouth watering yet? Like a true country store, they have it all.
