Treat Yourself in 2021
2020 was a year like no other, but we made it through. We think you, your partner, friends, and family deserve a reward for enduring this crazy year. We have a few ideas for you to spoil someone locally.
1. Rejuvenation Salon
Nothing says self-care like a spa day. Head to Rejuvenation Salon and you’ll instantly feel a sense of calm as their lobby welcomes you with crystals, salt lamps, and typical spa aromas that put you at ease. They have been very creative in finding ways to still offer services in their spa and wellness offerings. Between Energy Work, Naturopathic Care, Skin Care, and Massage Work, you can find something for everyone. While they remain open, they abide by strict COVID-19 guidelines. You’ll be required to wear your mask during a massage while lying upwards, and couples massages aren't held in the same room. Treat yourself to a free skin consultation followed by a skincare service catered right to you. Acupuncture, body wraps, hydrotherapy, self-care packages, you name it. You'll leave feeling relaxed.
Another spa in town that offers a few extra services is Elements. On top of spa services like a massage, treat yourself to a manicure/pedicure combo or a fresh wax treatment. They also are known for their hair services. Time to get the hairstyle you've always wanted, or just freshen up after too many months of cutting your hair yourself. You have to call ahead and make an appointment for all services and they require masks and sanitize after every use.
3. Crave Beauty Bar
Crave came to Lincoln City earlier this year, and a few months later the state went into lockdown. They have worked relentlessly to be there for their clients in any way they can, and now its our turn to return the favor. At Crave you can get eyelash extensions, hair services, and even a custom airbrush tan. These winter months can seem dark and that's one way to bring some glow. They also require appointments made in advance and for you to wait inside your vehicle for your hairdresser or technician to come and get you. One of the owners said this “I want people to be the best versions of themselves … I think when you feel good about yourself, you go out and do great things,” and if that isn't the attitude to take into the New Year, we're not sure what is.
4. More Self Care
On top of mental wellness boosters like candles, crystals, books and more from Into The Mystique, Crystal Wizard and Tah-Lume...stop by our local Natural grocery store, Trillium, for essential oils for your diffuser. And while you’re there, pick up eco-friendly cleaning supplies for your home, organic soaps and lotion for your skin, a huge variety of vitamins for your brain and organic, local food for your body. They also offer organic tea's, coffee's, and much more that is sure to make you feel healthy and ready to take on the new year.
