Spooky Season is Here

The Cheeky Cauldron, a Harry Potter-themed gift shop, complete with all the potions and magic you could dream of, is ready for this October. They offer tarot readings, potion-making classes, and much more. You can truly explore the wonders of the wizarding world, right here in Lincoln City. You are guaranteed a magical and interactive experience with in-character and costumed staff. They will be hosting a pumpkin carving party this month, where all you need to do is reserve your spot, bring your own pumpkin, and they'll provide the tools and tasty beverages.

Haunted Taft is a fun and spooky walking tour featuring the ghosts and legends of Lincoln City’s historic bayfront area. First launched in October of 2018, Haunted Taft has grown to become one of the premier ghost tours in Oregon. This year you’ll hear stories near the soft glow of the glass furnaces, and learn of spirits past and ghosts present at the Lincoln City Glass Center. Learn about the mysterious Ghost Schooner of Siletz Bay, an infamous celebrity spirit, bootleggers, and other creatures. All this and more during a spine-chilling on foot tour of Historic Taft. Be on the lookout for the elusive Sasquatch, pirates, and even skeletons showing their faces in the dark.

Seize the night! On the Saturday before All-Hallows-Eve, Chinook Winds Casino and Resort is asking you to gather for a grown-ups’ night of club music from DJ Metal, adult beverages, and competitive costumes. Come dressed in your best costume to be considered for; scariest, most creative, best duo, funniest, or best themed costume. This event will go from 10 pm - 2 am and you need to be present to claim your prize!

Spooky Spectacular is back this year with a walk-through experience that is perfect for trick-or-treating with the family. On October 31st from 5 pm - 7:30 pm, immerse yourselves in the fright and delight as you navigate the horrors. There will be decorations, candy, a photo booth, and more. Don't miss this creative and fun event made possible by the hard work and donations of many volunteers and the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln City.
