New Year for Wellness

When you visit Lincoln City, whether it be for business or leisure, we have a few places you can stay and still keep up with your New Year's wellness goals.

The Coho Oceanfront Lodge

Newly renovated, the Coho Lodge is ready for a new year of wellness. Situated on a bluff overlooking the ocean, you have a completely unobstructed view of the Pacific horizon. Rejuvenate with the sound of the crashing waves from your spacious room or while bathing in the warmth around one of their outdoor firepits. While the hotel is most certainly family-friendly, one wing is kid and pet-free - for those looking for that quiet escape. They also have adult-only hours on their newly upgraded swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and fitness room area. Enjoy a blend of traditional Swedish techniques and other various forms of bodywork, including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and sports massage, all in the privacy of their spa treatment room. They truly have thought of it all and have something for every type of traveler.

Surftides

A recently redecorated lobby gives Surftides a clean and cabin-like feel with exposed beams, tall ceilings, fireplace and lots of places to lounge and relax. There’s even a large game room complete with a ping pong table, shuffleboard and foosball. Immediate beach access makes it easy to walk or jog Lincoln City’s seven miles of beach. The property’s dome-like architecture houses everything you need for health and wellness. Complete with a pool surrounded by large live plants, fitness room, hot tub, steam room, and dry sauna. It isn’t too common to find all of those amenities in one place. And it feels like paradise when it’s storming outside. Across the parking lot, you will find Mist, their restaurant and lounge. It has views of the ocean but also a unique fireplace inside, giving it a cozy lounge feeling. With affordable healthy options to choose from such as their Walnut & Pear Salad or Pan Roasted Salmon, it’s easy to stay on track of your health goals.

Inn at Spanish Head

There is something about Spanish Head that feels like home. It might be because the units are like apartments and that a few people actually live there full-time. Carved out of a cliff, you’ll find yourself on the 9th floor when you arrive and greeted with a breathtaking view of the ocean. A restaurant and lounge are located on the top floor, with a thoughtful variety of healthy food to choose from. Try their Blackened Pacific Rockfish served with an organic house salad. The chef is also very accommodating dietary restrictions. If you’re traveling for business, even their meeting space has incredible views with cuisine that caters to all. Equipped with an outdoor swimming pool, fitness machines, jacuzzi, and direct beach access, you won’t miss a beat when it comes to activity. Its history brings a true uniqueness and it would be a perfect place to have a mental reset or even host an event.
