Date Ideas in Lincoln City

February is the time to celebrate love, and you'll find plenty of creative and romantic things to do with your special someone right here in Lincoln City.

Get Creative

A couple enjoys glassblowing together

While it is fun to explore the beach in hopes of finding an elusive glass float from our Finders Keepers Program…sometimes you walk away unsuccessful. But here is a creative solution! Head to the Lincoln City Glass Center or make an appointment with Thornmeadow Glassworks, with your special someone, and together, blow your very own piece of glass art, with personal guidance from a local artist!

Begin by choosing the style, size, and a few of your favorite colors. Your artisan instructor will make the process as hands-on as you like. They walk you through each step and explain the art of glass blowing along the way. Once finished, your float is placed in a kiln to cure overnight. When the two of you arrive to pick up your float the next day, you will marvel at the colors and feel proud of your joint creation. For more artsy and creative date ideas, click here.

Go Back In Time

a crowd of people watch a movie at the Bijou Theater

Take your date to the Bijou Theatre, whose films have been entertaining Lincoln City through the silver screen since 1937. Once voted Small Business of the Year, the Bijou continues to reinvent itself. The theatre plays new releases as well as classic films with regular rotation. With affordable ticket prices, a quirky blast from the past vibe, local beer, wine, and, of course, popcorn – it is clear this has promise to be a fun and entertaining date night.

This month our plethora of antique stores come together to create Antique & Collectibles Week. Soak in the history of the Oregon Coast as you hunt for quality antiques. For more than a decade, Lincoln City has been the place to go on the Oregon Coast if you are interested in antiques and collectibles. Antique shops and used book stores abound in Lincoln City, once named one of the great undiscovered places to antique in the United States. You're sure to explore some unique finds to bring home with you.

Dinner And A View

The Inn At Spanish Head's on the beach

This is a must for a special date with your valentine. For casual dining to special occasions with the best view on the Oregon Coast. Some say you can actually see the curve of the earth from the Inn At Spanish Head's 10th-floor oceanfront restaurant and bar, Fathoms. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Fathoms Restaurant & Bar features classic hand-shaken cocktails, regional and international wines, craft-brewed and imported and domestic beers, and fresh-squeezed juices.

Other notable date night restaurants with a view include Kyllo's Seafood Grill, Rogue River Steakhouse, Chinook Seafood Grill, and MIST Restaurant and Lounge.

Hit The Town - Night Life

One of the oldest bars on the Oregon Coast, Snug Harbor hosts karaoke nights as well as live music on weekends! Grab your dancing shoes and your date and have a fun night on the town. There is normally live music you can find on the weekends, whether that's at Beachcrest Brewing, Beach Club & Event Center and Chinook Winds Casino Resort, and more.
