A Rusty Reopening

Nestled in the Taft District of Lincoln City is Rusty Truck Brewing. This homegrown brewery puts emphasis on handmade beer from scratch and promises to never take shortcuts or use extracts.

With this commitment to quality, Rusty Truck recently reopened their doors to unveil a new menu and counter service concept.

Going back to basics, while also putting a focus on the beer that made them famous, Rusty Truck have streamlined their menu. Gone are the multi-page menus filled with items ranging from pasta alfredo to steak. Now, the brewing is going full speed with their signature pizzas.

After listening to customer feedback, Rusty Truck has re-torqued its menu to focus on their strengths…great pizza paired with great beer. Using an old-fashioned brick oven, the wood-fired pizzas come out hot and bubbly with a slight char on the crust. Choose from a variety of pies, including the meaty Horsepower Pizza topped with fresh Canadian bacon, pepperoni, sausage, chicken and bacon. Or, try something a little bit lighter with the Rat Rod Pizza, a pesto chicken pizza topped with sundried tomatoes, kalamata olives, and feta.

The menu is not the only change at Rusty Truck. A new walk-up counter service ensures that customers get the best experience while also making sure that orders are one hundred percent. Keeping to a commitment of delivering a quality product, Rusty Truck has streamlined the ordering process so that they can focus their attention on what matters…the beer.

Of course, no pizza order is complete without one of Rusty Truck’s signature brews. The Road Wrecker IPA, with its big and hoppy flavor profile, goes great with a Horsepower pie. Or, the Moonlight Ride Blackberry Ale, brewed with fresh Oregon blackberries, makes for a perfect accompaniment to the Rat Rod Pizza.
