The Visitor & Convention Bureau holds an annual grant funding cycle to fund tourism related projects in the Lincoln City area. Grant funding is open to all organizations able to demonstrate project feasibility and need, with a primary focus on tourism.
Lincoln City has established a Tourism Grant Program to assist local organizations in creating experiences that will enhance the tourism promotion efforts of the Visitor & Convention Bureau, increasing overnight stays in Lincoln City.
The Visitor & Convention Committee (VCC) looks for projects that offer unique opportunities consistent with local tourism goals and objectives. Projects should identify a specific target market and offer a specific strategy for reaching this market. Projects which combine the resources of multiple entities are encouraged.
Funding for the Tourism Grant Program comes from the city-wide transient room tax and is subject to the restrictions on use of transient room tax funds earmarked for tourism promotion and is contingent on funding availability. Applicants may apply for more than one project during the cycle.
2017 PROGRAM CHANGE: The VCB will now offer ONE application cycle per fiscal year (July 1 – June 30)
Grant Application & Guidelines
