ABOUT THE LINCOLN CITY VISITOR AND CONVENTION BUREAU

MISSION:

The mission of the Visitor and Convention Bureau (VCB) is to promote tourism to the area with an emphasis on the shoulder and off-seasons, that is, mid-September through June. All of its powers and duties are enumerated in Municipal Code 2.24.080. More specifically, it engages primarily in the following activities:

  • Designing and Executing Programs, Promotions, and Events
  • Designing and Managing Attractions
  • Fulfilling Visitor Requests for Information
  • Promoting Tourism By Marketing Lincoln City in the Above and Other Ways

DEPARTMENTS AND PERSONNEL:

The Visitor & Convention Committee (VCC) is a group of citizens and business owners who meet monthly to provide advice and recommendations to the VCB and City Council. VCC meetings are public and generally happen the second Monday of each month. For further information on VCC meetings, please click here.
