FOUR GREAT CHEFS WILL BATTLE IT OUT FOR CHARITY!
On March 3, 2012 the Culinary Center in Lincoln City is hosting the 3rd annual Ready…SET…Cook! –a fast and furious cooking competition where four chefs will compete head-to-head.
Each chef is given a set pantry, a mystery ingredient and a time limit. Here’s the twist:
YOU have a chance to be part of the show. We’ll auction off sous chef and judging spots for each round. And the best part is that the event will be a benefit for the North Lincoln Hospital Foundation with proceeds going to the Samaritan Early Learning Center fund. The goal is to raise $5,000+ for tuition scholarships to help families who otherwise could not afford to enroll their children at the center. Last year almost hit that mark!
This action-packed event starts with a silent auction, food, plus a cash wine & beer bar. Admission is $30 and space is limited!
To reserve your tickets call 1-800-452-2151 or visit the Lincoln City Visitor & Convention Bureau on the 4th floor of City Hall.
The competitors for Round I will be Chef Travis Dickinson from Hall Street Grill in Portland, OR vs. 2011 champion Chef Jack Strong from Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City.
The competitors for Round II will be Chef Graciela Polley from Salishan Spa & Golf Resort vs. Chef Michael Valoppi from the Lodge at Suttle Lake in Sisters, OR.

ABOUT THE EARLY LEARNING CENTER
Proceeds of this event are dedicated to the North Lincoln Hospital Foundation’s Samaritan Early Learning Center (SELC) scholarship fund. SELC programs are based on the principle that access to challenging, appropriate levels of education for all children is key to a sustainable, healthy society. Recognizing the crucial need for specialized services in a child’s formative years, SELC provides specialized care and education for children six weeks to eight years of age.
We ask that you support us in helping nurture today’s children as they begin their journey of becoming the future leaders of our community.
