PHYSICAL CONTESTS:
1. Tail Wag Champ - Looking for fast and unique.
2. Cutest Puppy - This one explains itself.
3. Fabulous Frisbee Catcher - You throw, dog catches, longest distance catch wins.
4. Dandiest Dancing Dog - Bring favorite dancing music (CD), your dog gets to strut his/her stuff!
5. The Towel - Retreive a treat after it's hidden under a towel... best time wins!
6. Unusual Pet Trick - Anything you can get your dog to do, this one is up to your dog and his/her human!
7. Fastest 20 Yard Dash - Dog runs from helper to you-fastest wins!
8. Sweetest Smoocher - Dog kisses you, we judge the most passionate.
9. Sweetest Fetch Return - Dog fetches item of your choice, nicest return wins!
10. Best Singer - From opera to rap, any family friendly musical style accepted.

SHOW CATEGORIES:
1. Best Dressed - Any costume will do.
2. Longest Tail - From the "tuckus" to the tip.
3. Biggest Ears - The more dust they kick up, the better!
4. Dog/Human Look-a-Like Contest - Costumes encouraged.*
5. Best Smile - Self-explanatory!
BEST IN SHOW:
First place winner in each category competes! NO FEE!
Contestants should be in the ON DECK area prior to their event. It is recommended that contestants arrive early.
SCORING SYSTEM AND SHOWING METHOD:
For active categories, the MC will call each handler to present his/her dog for action, one at a time.
For non-active categories, like best-dressed contest, all the contestants will form a line or semi-circle in front of the judges. The MC will have each handler step forward and present his/her dog to the judges.
Many category scores will be the subjective decision of the judges, and their decisions shall be final. If any dispute arises, the dispute shall be resolved by decision of the representative from the Lincoln City Visitor & Convention Bureau, and that decision shall be final.
REGISTRATION:
Registration fee is $2 per event, per dog.
ADMISSION:
Registration of a dog includes admission fee for the handler.
Spectator admission- $2 per person, kids 12 and under are free!
RULES:
1. One handler per dog.
2. Handlers must be 14 years of age or older.
3. Dogs must be on leashes at all times, except for the following events in which voice control must be maintained:
a. Fabulous Frisbee Catcher
b. Dandiest Dancing Dog
c. The Towel
d. Unusual Pet Trick
e. Fastest 20 Yard Dash
f. Sweetest Fetch Return
4. Handlers must clean up after their dogs.
5. Aggressive dogs may be excluded from competing or appearing in the show if their behavior is or might become out of control.
6. The Lincoln City Visitor and Convention Bureau reserves the right to alter these rules or add to them at any time, including during The Mutt Masters, to protect the health and safety of the dogs, their handlers, and the public.
PRIZES:
1st place winner in each category will receive a blue ribbon and a prize package and move on to compete in the Best in Show.*
2nd place winners will receive a red ribbon
3rd place winners will receive a white ribbon.
BEST IN SHOW will receive a Lincoln City Weekend Package, including an overnight stay in a pet friendly lodging facility.
* 1st Place winner in the Dog Human Look-Alike Contest will win a blue ribbon and a framed caricature drawing of the winning couple!

On the Saturday May 17th, the third annual Mutt Masters Dog Show and Olympics will be held at the Taft Elementary School, 1545 SE 50th Street in Lincoln City, Oregon. Registration begins at 11am with the contests and shows beginning at Noon. Click here to pre-register, as pre-registration is recommended. Registration fee is $2 per dog, per category. One handler gets in with each registered dog.
