Families will find tons of fun in Lincoln City. Play on the beach, explore the town, or track down some special treats. The whole family is welcome, even your furry friends.
On the Beach
Endless fun awaits on our seven miles of beach. Play in the sand or dip your toes in the water (careful, it’s cold!). Go for a walk or relax in the sun with the cool ocean breeze in your face. Build sandcastles, explore tide pools, roast ‘smores and hot dogs over a fire, or fly a kite. You might even find a treasure.
Our beach is among the best along the Oregon Coast and it’s our star attraction, so get out there and enjoy it!
NE 14th Street
Regatta has it all. Tackle the unique sandcastle play structure, enjoy the short nature trails and sit down for a picnic. There’s also a boat ramp, fishing dock and a swimming area. Best of all, you’ll be lakeside with beautiful views of Devils Lake.
NE 22nd Street
Lincoln City has a spectacular skateboard park named one of the “gnarliest” parks in the United States, and located at Kirtsis Park behind the baseball fields on NE 22nd just east off Hwy 101. With three bowls, you can board in all kinds of weather. The park also has a cradle, one of only a handful in the world.
Kite flying is a way of life. On clear summer days when stiff winds blow, the sky in Lincoln City is filled with scores of colorful kites. We celebrate two kite festivals each year in summer and fall, welcoming professional talent from around the world. Learn about kite flying
