Seasonally Inspired Cooking
The Culinary Center in Lincoln City (formerly known as the Pacific Coast Center for Culinary Arts) focuses on the abundant foods of the Pacific Northwest. We feature locally grown and raised foods...from organic vegetables to grass-fed natural meats, prairie-raised chickens, and of course, our vast array of fresh seafood and shellfish.

Classes
We offer a wide array of classes to fit everyone's comfort level. In our demonstration classes it's your job to sit back, relax, and enjoy the wonderful food and wine while you learn from a pro. Or dive right in to one of our hands-on classes.

Cook-Off "Capitol"
The Culinary Center in Lincoln City is home to five cook-offs annually. For more information on these events, please click here!

Location
801 SW Hwy 101, Fourth Floor North - Lincoln City, OR 97367. The Culinary Center is accessed by the north elevators, under the library, and is open 15 minutes prior to the class beginning or by appointment.

Raves from Past Students:
"...just wanted to let you know how much David and I enjoyed your Filled Italian Pastas class with Justin Wills. We wanted to especially let you know what a fantastic facilitator you were! We have witnessed many cooking/wine instructors, and can't tell you how spot on you were with the class! I loved how you were able to draw us in, humor us, educate, as well as entertain all in a very professional manner. Well done and much appreciated! --Becky Bigelow

"...thank you for a great experience at the Pizza class, my husband and I are really looking forward to the next class. I have 'spread the word' and have about a half dozen people interested - I hope they attend something; they won't regret it." --Maggie Vohs

"Wonderful food, wonderful drinks, wonderful people and excellent instruction!" --Judy Darling

"Organization was perfect - I can use these recipes tomorrow!" --Bonnie Osborne

About the Culinary Center
Nestled atop one of the tallest buildings in Lincoln City, the Culinary Center is the home of Pacific Northwest cuisine. The wall of windows provides a stunning view of the surging waves of the Pacific. In the summer, see the sun lighting up Cascade Head. In the winter, witness some of the biggest waves on earth crashing ashore. Even as the sun falls, the glow from the Coast Range illuminates each and every tree. At night, the lights of historic U.S. Highway 101 climbing toward the horizon offer a whole different perspective on one of the Oregon Coast's most diverse communities.

A Kitchen Fit for a Pro
With a complete and certified professional kitchen, you'll learn on the equipment the pros use. Out front is the 45th Room, highlighting Lincoln City's location halfway between the Equator and the North Pole on the 45th Parallel. Here you'll find a demonstration area with cameras, flat screens and theater seating. There's not a bad seat in the house as you watch our chefs perform. The only thing that competes with the food is the view.

Coming Together for Cuisine
Like Lincoln City itself, the Culinary Center is supported by a diverse collection of groups and grants, including the Kellogg Foundation through LC CORE, RBEG funds through USDA and the Lincoln County Economic Alliance, and the Oregon Tourism Commission -- "Oregon. We love dreamers". The Center's mission is to serve visitors, local citizens, area entrepreneurs, the hospitality industry -- and you.
