Our Mission: The Pacific Coast Center for Culinary Arts focuses on the abundant foods and culinary heritage of the Pacific Northwest. Good, safe and wholesome foods locally grown, seasonally fresh and whole (or minimally processed) are not only more pleasurable to eat and prepare, but also minimize the negative impact on the environment. The Culinary Center is committed to teaching time-tested methods and skills, with special attention to strengthening the connections among farmers, fishermen, and other producers and the consumer.

About the PCCCA
Nestled atop one of the tallest buildings in Lincoln City, the Pacific Coast Center for Culinary Arts is the new home of Pacific Northwest cuisine. At cooking classes and demonstrations for individuals and groups, you’ll learn how to prepare the best of Pacific Northwest (and every other kind of ) cuisine. Presented by local award winning chefs and visiting masters from other states, regions and countries, even one class at the Culinary Center can make your kitchen the home of the next great party.

A Kitchen Fit for a Pro
With an all-new, complete and certified professional kitchen in the Andy Milne Training Center, you'll learn on the equipment the pros use. Out front is the 45th Room, highlighting Lincoln City's location halfway between the Equator and the North Pole, on the 45th Parallel. Here, you’ll find a demonstration area with cameras, flat screens and theater seating. There’s not a bad seat in the house as you watch our chefs perform. The only thing that competes with the food is the view.

The Culinary Center offers so much more than just classes and a kitchen, cuisine and culinary training. It offers an atmosphere that rivals any on the Oregon Coast. The wall of windows provides a stunning view of the surging waves of the Pacific. In the summer, see the sun lighting up Cascade Head. In the winter, witness some of the biggest waves on earth crashing ashore. Even as the sun falls, the glow from the Coast Range illuminates each and every tree. At night, the lights of historic U.S. Highway 101 climbing toward the horizon offer a whole different perspective on one of the Oregon Coast’s most diverse communities.

Food = Fun
And when you’re done whipping up a souffle and taking in the view, there's the best part of all: Eating! With cafe seating near our giant picture windows, you can sample the fruits (and meats and veggies …) of your labor.

Coming Together for Cuisine
Like Lincoln City itself, The Culinary Center is supported by a diverse collection of groups and grants, including the Kellogg Foundation through LC CORE, RBEG funds through USDA and the Lincoln County Economic Alliance, and the Oregon Tourism Commission. The Center's mission is to serve visitors, local citizens, area entrepreneurs, the hospitality industry -- and you.
